A Mobile Landscape offers views of the vast, dynamic waterfront landscape lying behind the construction hoardings, and therefore unseen by the general public.
Since 2019, Toronto-based artists Vid Ingelevics and Ryan Walker have charted the progression of the Port Lands Flood Protection Project, one of the most ambitious civil works projects in North America.

SUSAN DOBSON: SLIDE | LECTURE

Guelph-based photographer Susan Dobson reconsiders the materiality, physicality, and meaning of abandoned university slide libraries.
Her precisely composed images of these outdated photographic transparencies, originally made to be projected in art history lectures, expose the canonical biases of traditional visual culture—dominated by Western male artists, while marginalizing or excluding art by those outside the establishment.

Barcelona-based multidisciplinary artist Laia Abril produces formidable projects across platforms including exhibitions, books, and films. Abril’s work conveys intimate stories that raise uneasy questions and expose hidden realities related to sexuality, disordered eating, and gender equity.
On Rape (2019) is the second chapter of her long-term project, A History of Misogyny, which examines the multifaceted social and cultural prohibitions and stereotypes that perpetuate the oppression of women around the world.

A series of performances, temporary installations and interventions will occur in parkettes across the city by artists Mitchell Akiyama, Raven Chacon, Ronnie Clarke, Vanessa Dion Fletcher, Marisa Gallemit and Amy Ching-Yan Lam.
Often found in proximity to municipal margins and infrastructures, Toronto’s parkettes provide oblique glimpses into the city’s socio-political, economic and geographic histories.
