- Images will be printed as-is, we will not perform corrections to self serve prints.
- We do not adjust the cropping you submit with your order (ie. a square image submitted as a 4×6 print will lose 1/3 of the image due to cropping off the top and bottom). Please see the Self-Serve Guide for more information or submit your files via FTP or in person for custom printing if specific crops, sizes, general corrections are required.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
The following conditions MUST be met to qualify for SELF-SERVE pricing:
- RGB colourspace only – Embed sRGB or Adobe RGB (1998) ICC profile.
- 8-bit JPEGs only.
- We suggest viewing and editing files on a calibrated monitor; this ensures accurate colour results.
- Images not proportional to the final paper size will automatically be cropped. To avoid cropping, canvas your image to the proper paper size or write “DO NOT CROP” in the comments section of the order and your image will be fitted to the paper size, HOWEVER if the ratio of the image does not match the paper size you will end up with white borders on top and bottom or left and right sides of the print. Please see the Self-Serve Guide for more information. Please note: there is a 1/8″ allowance for self-serve printing – tight cropping to images may be affected by machine prints.

Suitable for large files or large quantities of files, our FTP service allows you to transfer your files over the web to and from Toronto Image Works using your web browser or a dedicated FTP application.
We accept files submitted via FTP transfer to our server, file transfer services such as WeTransfer or DropBox, or on physical media such as USB stick or external drive. Emailed files will not be accepted.

One of our customer service representatives will contact you with turnaround time or answers to any questions you might have regarding your order.
PLEASE NOTE: this service is not intended as permanent storage for your files. All files left on the server longer than 30 days will be deleted to preserve storage space on the server for all of our clients.
Film left at Toronto Image Works longer than 30 days from rollscan orders will be destroyed to preserve storage space at our facility.

Jordan is an architectural designer and visualization artist. His interest in urban exploring stemmed back in 2013 when he remembers craving the ability to sit on the edge of a skyscraper, witness the city exposed, silenced, framed, yet open. Jordan says “I capture to trace back later what I felt, to hold still, what I remembered, the emotions, the intensity, the heaviness, the vehemence in the nostalgia. A way to trigger my memory.

We think this velvety Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Ultra Smooth paper is the perfect compliment to this wonderful photograph by Janice Reid @janice.reid
This artwork, entitled “Marcus,” was captured outside the cherished home of Janice’s dear friend in Kingston, Jamaica. It was an artistic collaboration with Leonie, a creative whom she was truly excited to have finally gotten the opportunity to work with. “Marcus” is a visual tapestry with intricate layers, from the colours, how Leonie’s posed, the poignant portrait of Marcus Garvey, and the empty chair symbolically reserved for him. Janice says the print came out beautifully, and made her miss this day and home.

“Where Are Our Moms?” is currently being exhibited at the Tranzac Club Main Hall until April 30th, then along with “Fantasy Food Bank” will both go to NUUC for the whole summer, as part of CONTACT. @contactphoto
Davis’ dioramas playfully explore many challenging issues: food insecurity, climate change, housing, the crisis in childcare to name a few. She uses a combination of real miniature objects, dolls, and photographic backgrounds in bright colours. Her work gives children opportunities to discuss these issues with trusted adults creatively and productively. Her show consists of 41 photographs and four physical dioramas
