TESTIMONIALS
“Toronto Image Works has consistently produced the best quality prints for me. They are professional and attentive to my timeline…. They have been able to help with special sizes and mounting and it always comes out perfect!”
“I love Image Works and all the staff, who are not only efficient but incredibly hard working and the most reliable..from when you walk in the door until you leave…”
“I am proud to have my work printed and mounted by TIW (in fact, I use it as a selling point when I speak to customers about my face mounted photography)! They are an amazing team, and they provide exceptional support (including a very specialized digital imaging consulting service, which has been invaluable to me). My successful art career would not be where it is without their enthusiastic support.”

“I’ve learned much at TIW over the years and have always been shown respect and care no matter the scale of the project. Whether framing, printing or processing, the Image Works staff members have always shown keen attention to detail and have often humbly offered nuggets of knowledge on occasions too numerous to count.”

“Image Works gives something more than ‘service’. The craft and patience …[is] far beyond price.”

We love Barbara’s reaction to seeing her beautiful artwork framed and complete. 💚 This is “Teddy in Green” part of her Shadow Dancing Series. @barbaracoleart
In Shadow Dancing, photographer Barbara Cole connects with both the history of photography and her own personal history in what she calls “the shadow dance between our private and public selves.By using a turn-of-the-century photographic process called wet collodion and her own modernized twist of adding a layer of color, the resulting tintypes offer glimpses into a particularly feminine soul. The process requires heavy prep work and each handmade image takes at least half an hour to create from start to finish. The final image feels like something lost in time, somewhere between the past and the present. Shadow Dancing inhabits a poetic space you have never been to but wish you had.

Rob and his wife Lisa and I have been visiting Joshua Tree National Park every year, together, for 30 years, and this has become their favorite of all the countless thousands of trees in the park. “Every time we go, we visit this one tree. It’s so balanced, peaceful, and way off the beaten path.”

Harnessing the groundbreaking advent of AI in image-making, this work investigates contemporary conditions of overwhelming industrial scale, technological complexity, and global interconnectedness. The series challenges traditional perceptions of landscapes—built, natural, and hyperreal—inviting a profound reconsideration of environments shaped by relentless production and consumption.
